He kept his arms locked around her as he lay down, “Do you want to feed? Sleep.. You can feed tomorrow, okay? I’ll find you some stupid willing third year.”
She looked at him, “This is boring. I don’t want to sleep.” she gave a sort of bitchy look and shrugged, “Why are you practically holding me down? Hmm?”
“Because if I let go you’ll run around killing random people and I don’t want that.. You need to grab onto your damn humanity.”

“You?” he asked, hugging her tight, “Have a rest, don’t look directly into the light because it’ll kill your vision, and don’t leave my sight.”
“Nothing…” she whispered harshly. All of a sudden she felt like a little kid in a candy store. She didn’t know why but everything felt more intense and all she wanted to do was run around and eat something.

“We’ll be the same now.. It’s okay.” he whispered over and over, wiping her mouth as she pulled away from his wrist, “Are you okay?”
She opened her eyes widely, not knowing what was happening at all. “I’m fine…” she mumbled under her breath, “I…”

He smiled widely down at her, helping her sit up as he pulled her up to sit in his lap, gently rocking her as she drank from his wrist. His mind totally freaking as he realised what he’d done.
She continued to drink his blood, not knowing what she was really doing. Her eyes stayed shut as she felt them tear up a little, she soon realised that she was saying good bye to almost being human. Suddenly all these thoughts about her now becoming a monster were running through her head.

“Drink!” he said loudly, squeezing his wrist in an effort to get more blood into her body.
